This year, the first day of the Laima Vaikule Festival will be rocked by the legendary British pop band Londonbeat! They began their impressive musical journey in the UK, joining an English guitarist and three talented African-American singers. Londonbeat became famous for their unique fusion of R&B, pop and soul with modern techno rhythms. Their mega-hit "I've Been Thinking About You", released in 1991, quickly topped the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Dance Music/Club charts.
Among them will be Verka Serduchka (Ukraine), Alekseev (Ukraine), Anna Butkevich (Ukraine), Max Barskih (Ukraine), Dorofeeva (Ukraine), NK | Nastia Kamenskykh (Ukraine), Maria Maksakova (Ukraine), Ulyana Olhina (Ukraine), Uku Suviste (Estonia), DEN BAURIN (Hungary), Jānis Stībelis (LV), Normunds Rutulis (LV), Igo (LV), Grēta (LV). Freedom Ballet and Laima Vaikule herself will traditionally delight the audience with their bright performances.
